Elmira Biologicals, Inc. was established in 1988 to provide custom antisera and animal blood products for use in biomedical research.
Custom Antiserum Production
Production of polyclonal antiserum in a domestic animal is usually considered
a last resort - only to be utilized when all other avenues have failed. We
want to change this and make it practical, affordable and simple to try polyclonal
antiserum production whenever it is appropriate.
Normal Animal Blood Products
These are the basic tools for biologic research. Anticoagulated whole blood,
defibrinated blood or normal sera are needed for various assay systems, culture
of bacteria, and other in vitro tests.
Elmira Biologicals, Inc. is a USDA licensed and inspected facility. In addition,
EBI has an approved Animal Welfare Assurance from the PHS Office of Laboratory
Animal Welfare.
